The hotel is located in the picturesque village of Pontenx-les-Forges, ideally situated between the ocean and the forest, in the Landes of Gascony.
Mimizan Beach, the lake of Biscarosse and the Regional Nature Park at 15 minutes.

In the village there are several foothpaths in between the maritime pines and also a cycle track linking Pontenx-les-Forges to Mimizan Beach. You will also find pretty typical houses of the Landes made of "alios" stones, the pond of Forges and its stream.
Nearby riding stables, canoeing and petanque.

Pontenx is also on the route of Saint Jacques de Compostelle, with the Chapel of Bourricos and the Miraculous Fountain.
The region is steeped in natural heritage and gastronomic tradition.
